FYI -- Sara T. Has the flu. Blech. So I stayed home and painted a wall in the living room red today. And made a coconut cream tart. And some Grandma Helen Potatoes. And took a nap. Good day...despite the hacking and the temperature.
How did the red wall turn out? Did you only paint one wall red, if so what is the color of the other walls? I was at Lowe's yesterday getting paint swatches. I hope to start painting soon. Hope your feeling better. ~Suzanne Burton
The red wall turned out GREAT. The whole reason I was painting an "accent" wall is because one of my spur of the moment art projects didn't go so well. The room is light yellow (I believe the paint is called cornsilk)...and the furniture is green. I promise my living room does not look like a John Deere store. Anyways, I have pictures of poppies and I wanted to bring out the red color. I had a color all picked out, but when I got to the store, there was a mis-tint called "Chocolate Cherry" for $2. Well....how could you go wrong with a name like that? What a bargain! It's a bit more purple than what I originally selected, but for the price, I LOVE it.
are random stories sent to my inbox. They are freely borrowed and I take no responsibility in the accuracy of the statements. They do however, make me giggle.
